Well, so much for a picture every day... But that doesn't mean I still can't take pictures, right? This was an old dock at a campground near Williamsburg, Virginia. I went back and forth between color and black and white, but i think I like the black and white better. Seeing an old dock like this makes me think of all the people and boats that used it in years gone by. Someone did a canon-ball off of this, while other people used it to get into their boats (or fell into the water trying to!), but over the years the elements took their toll and it fell into disrepair. At some point, some poor soul probably tried to walk out on it and fell through! I hope they didn't get hurt...
